Charlene considers herself to be a multi-medium artist. She works in oil,
watercolor, clay and glass, as well as photography. Charlene finds expressing
herself through art to be necessary for the growth of her soul. She believes
that we are all are creative beings, and that through creating, we heal ourselves
and those who enjoy our work. Her hope is that her creations give you joy!

Pottery/Sculpture:
Charlene creates useful and decorative pieces of pottery and sculpture.
She tends to work in "series", yet every piece is an individual,
"one of a kind" work. Her speciality is custom and special order pieces, as
well as experimental pieces. Charlene teaches pottery in classes and
private lessons.
Stained Glass:
Charlene creates individual "one of a kind" stained glass
windows and smaller pieces. Her work is from her own
patterns, making each one a unique work of art.
Most of Charlene's pieces are custom made for her customers
and their individual style and taste. She also does
spiritual and sacred pieces, as well as light,
uplifting comical pieces. Charlene has participated in
"Glass in the Garden" at the Botanical garden in Denver,
and has taken first prize at a Lakewood Art Guild show.
Charlene is available to teach stained glass lessons.
Painting/Oil and Watercolor:
Charlene has been painting for as long as she can remember.
She sold her first painting off of her wall 22 years ago.
Charlene enjoys seeing things through the eyes of a painter;
"what colors would you use to paint those mountains", etc.
She also teaches oil painting and watercolor painting.
Photography:
Charlene has been a professional free-lance photographer
since graduating from The New York Institute of Photography
in 1980. She does Wedding Photography, Family Group and
Baby/Children Portraits, Model Portfolios, Dance Recitals,
Industrial Photography, Video Productions and well as still
photographs. Charlene also enjoys photographing nature from a
different point of view. She is available to teach photography and composition.
