Alice Silver is a retired teacher who always admired others' art.
After an art experience in her classroom, she knew she needed to try to paint
herself.
Her experience with adult non-credit classes and working with a mentor has
given her the courage to pursue this dream.
She paints exclusively with watercolors. Most of her work is of flowers,
scenic views, and the beauty of the natural world.
Alice also has painted her grandchildren doing activities they enjoy. These
paintings are for them to hang in their own rooms, like a sign of possession.

For Alice, it turns out painting is more than just a distraction or hobby,
